Measure the source actually submitted
Five selected thirty-second clips from an hour-long recording do not make two and a half minutes the entire processing workload. Record the range submitted. If a narrower source segment serves the task, compare that approach with processing everything. Resolve rounding and rerun treatment from the current accounting information and displayed estimate rather than inventing a direct cost per selected clip.
Keep payment schedules comparable
The checked Starter offer is USD15 billed monthly. When comparing it with an annual equivalent on another plan, include the upfront amount, required capacity and renewal timing. Additional allowances are only part of the decision; delivery and team operations can differ too. Compare accounts that perform the same required job rather than simply choosing the lowest number displayed as a monthly equivalent.
Trial the file you intend to release
Free access can support a trial without meeting the publication specification. Export the intended format and complete caption and framing corrections, checking watermark and access conditions. The transition from a trial to a free account is also different from cancellation of a paid subscription. Identify which account state applies to the evaluation before relying on its conditions for a recurring schedule.
Distinguish the two production products
Repurposing an existing recording in OpusClip and generating a new video in Agent Opus are different operations. A shared credit balance does not make source-processing minutes identical to finished generated seconds. Keep a separate task ledger if both are used, so the budget explains the work consuming the balance rather than relying on the product names alone.
Check retention before stopping renewal
Project access after a change and remaining-credit expiry are different questions. Official help descriptions show differing expiry wording, so this guide does not promise a universal retention period. Obtain required outputs and their source references, then resolve the current account conditions before changing access. An unused balance should not be treated as proof that editable projects will remain available indefinitely.
