Treat clip suggestions as candidates
OpusClip creates short candidates from longer source material. A suggested excerpt still needs editorial review against the original context. Identify the point to preserve and watch the surrounding material. A condition attached to advice can disappear in a short cut, so allocate time to verify meaning rather than treating candidate generation as approval to publish.
Do not turn a score into a performance claim
A provider score is not proof of future views, subscriptions or revenue. First check comprehension and audience fit. After publication, review the topic and destination alongside actual results. Do not scale the production schedule solely because suggested clips received high scores; that would confuse a selection aid with evidence about your own distribution and audience.
Measure source processing rather than selected length
The amount of source video processed matters even when only a few short excerpts are selected. Check whether a narrower processing range fits the task and log reruns. Distinguish OpusClip’s repurposing work from Agent Opus generation rather than assuming similarly named credits represent an identical unit of work or an interchangeable free allowance.
Review captions and framing in the final file
Japanese source support does not establish accuracy for your names or specialist terms. Correct captions and inspect framing of people and supporting material. If reframing removes important evidence, determine whether the treatment still preserves the original meaning. Review the downloaded file throughout before release instead of approving only the first seconds of an in-app preview.
Plan publication, source retention and exit
Define who approves publication even if the service can post to a channel. Retain the long source, selected time range, corrected captions and final output together. Project access after a subscription change is a different question from credit expiry. Obtain required deliverables and resolve the current account terms before deciding to cancel or downgrade.
