Record the selected model
When an application offers several models, using the same app does not ensure that every shot comes from the same generator. Record the selected model and generation date alongside the application. That record helps with revisions and with explaining how an asset was made to the person who approves it.
Define the asset before generating
Define the role of a generated shot before producing it. For a fifteen-second explainer, plan the product view, explanatory text and closing action separately. In an evaluation, reserve exact labels and logos for a controlled editing step so that you can judge the visual asset without confusing it with text accuracy.
Separate Adobe and partner terms
Adobe distinguishes its own Firefly models from partner models. Read the current model and agreement information instead of extending one model’s assurances to every choice in the application. An eligible model also does not resolve every question about an uploaded photograph, a recognizable person or third-party branding.
Budget exploration, not only selected shots
Counting only selected shots misses discarded alternatives and revisions. Start with one scene and log exploration, corrections and the final choice. Match that work to the current model-specific usage information; a credit in another service is not a common unit that can be directly substituted.
Test a real edit
Bring a candidate shot back into the editing and approval process you already use. Finish its duration, sound and text placement before judging whether the extra service is useful. When comparing with Runway, use one shared shot brief and assess the amount of work remaining after generation.
One controlled product insert
For a tabletop product insert, establish the real photograph as the reference and define which background elements may move. Add the exact price and name in editing, then inspect for invented controls or accessories. If the result needs substantial factual correction, compare a narrower treatment that generates only the backdrop. Compare the correction work before extending either treatment to more shots.
