Choose a script-to-audio assignment
Choose a real release assignment, such as six recurring product explainers, and prepare a representative passage containing a name, quantity and qualification. Select a voice, correct one reading and place the result into the intended video. Judge whether the explanation remains understandable there. Shortening an interview, dubbing recorded footage and reading a new script are different assignments. Separate them before building a budget. This guide primarily evaluates narration created through the ElevenCreative website, so a feature advertised for another product family is not automatically part of the proposed workflow. For example, two reads of a 1,500-character passage represent 3,000 input characters before any applicable modifier, even if only one is selected. Plan audition scope explicitly.
Read the recurring website plan
The checked regular monthly website offers are Starter at USD6 with 30,000 credits, Creator at USD22 with 121,000 and Pro at USD99 with 600,000. Keep first-month promotions, tax and annual equivalents separate. Establish required voices, features and publication conditions before sizing capacity. A brief internal audition does not itself justify a larger tier. Before production, map the proposed scripts and corrections to a suitable account. If additional-usage terms are unresolved, record a capacity gap rather than assuming that exceeding the included balance carries no further charge.
Keep website characters separate from API usage
Official help describes website generation as one credit per character, with voice-specific modifiers treated separately; API discounts are a different scope. Do not import an API rate into a manual website estimate. A four-minute output has no universal character count because scripts and pace differ. Count the actual text where available and label any duration conversion as an assumption. Include alternate reads, rejected output and wording changes in the workload. A finished-runtime total alone cannot establish a guaranteed number of publishable episodes from a credit balance.
Resolve commercial use and attribution
Free output has no commercial license. Noncommercial sharing also requires the attribution described in the official guidance, including its title-placement rule; music has a separate attribution treatment. Paid-period output has commercial permission subject to necessary intellectual-property rights and the applicable terms, with additional restrictions for Beta or particular features. A later subscription does not retroactively convert earlier free output into commercial material. Retain the production date, subscription, voice, approved script and intended client use together so the relevant conditions can be identified when reuse is proposed.
Evaluate a corrected sentence in context
After the trial, simulate a changed product name and produce a replacement sentence. Review pace, pauses and level beside its neighbors, then check captions and visible labels for the old wording. Separate factual approval from performance review so polishing does not conceal an unresolved script change. Give script and audio a matching revision identifier and tell the video editor exactly where the replacement belongs. Include this complete operation in the evaluation. The useful result is a correction that the regular production operator can deliver reliably, rather than an impressive first audition alone.
Prepare an independent revision package
Pricing guidance says unused paid credits expire at the end of the cycle after cancellation. Obtain the audio, script, captions and pronunciation records needed for later work beforehand. Keep permission for previously eligible output separate from conditions on new generation after the paid period. If changing providers, do not assume the speaker model transfers. Rebuild a paragraph and listen beside existing lessons to decide whether a small patch or a wider narration replacement is appropriate. Stop renewal after another operator can locate the retained material and reproduce the required revision path.
