Turn the script into reviewable claims
The deliverable links each substantive statement to a source or an approved demonstration. Treat words such as light or long-lasting as review items rather than harmless decoration. Ask what comparison or condition they imply. If removing an unsupported adjective keeps the explanation clear, no invented measurement is needed.
Include claims communicated visually. A container submerged in water can imply a performance property even when the narration never says waterproof. Review speech, captions, on-screen text and demonstrations together rather than approving the written script in isolation.
Identify the product version and conditions
Fix the product ID, model, revision, included accessories and date of the supporting material. Different capacity variants or revisions may not share the same dimensions and specifications. Check that an older description has not been carried into footage of a newer product.
For a demonstration, record relevant tools, quantities, surroundings and actions. Not every production note belongs in the public narration, but reviewers should be able to reconstruct the conditions behind the statement. Separate information supplied by the manufacturer from an original observation and from a purely illustrative scene.
Review the words against the actual shot
Create rows containing script line, timecode, statement, evidence and decision. For a dimension claim, confirm the exact product shown and whether surrounding objects create a misleading sense of scale. Correct any accessory described as included when the supporting information says otherwise.
Distinguish atmosphere from factual demonstration when using generated footage. A clip made in Runway or another generator may be visually useful while depicting the wrong shape or behaviour. Do not treat generation success as verification of the real product, and do not rely on a caption to repair a clearly contradictory visual.
| Check | Record | Acceptance |
|---|---|---|
| Product | Model, capacity and source date | Matches the item filmed |
| Claim | Line, timecode and evidence | Wording supported |
| Correction | Script, captions and destinations | All relevant versions updated |

Example: reviewing a capacity explanation
In a fictional review of container P-081, the script says it stores meals for an entire family, while the available specification establishes only capacity. Family size and portions are undefined, so revise the explanation to the documented capacity and a clearly described example.
The shot also shows a different-size container. Replace that shot as well: correcting the narration alone leaves the visual contradiction intact. After the revision, check subtitles and thumbnail references for the same model. This example is a review method, not a product test or an established performance result.
Hold uncertain statements and propagate corrections
When evidence is missing, return the item to the responsible reviewer, narrow the wording, remove the statement or record a new demonstration. A deadline is not a reason to substitute information about another product. Keep uncertain lines out of the approved script.
For a correction after publication, list affected script, captions, video, product page and distribution destinations. Editing one master file does not update every public appearance. Record the reason and supporting material, then verify which destinations have actually changed and which still require action.
- After correction:Narrow, remove or investigate → Is the claim supported?
Include review and replacement in the production budget
Budget separately for editing, generation, stock assets, factual review and re-recording. A spreadsheet and an existing editor such as CapCut can support this process without another subscription. If late revisions recur, move the specification review before filming rather than buying more generation capacity.
Acceptance means reviewers can identify support for the important statements and the final visuals, speech and captions agree. Review attractive supplementary shots too: a scene added only for pacing can still alter what viewers understand about the product if it depicts an unsupported capability.
